Do not use the scooter in heavy rain, deep puddles or very wet conditions.

Beach and seafront paths – Only on paved or tiled walkways; avoid sand, gravel and other soft or uneven surfaces.

No roads or bike lanes – Scooters are not for road use or cycle lanes; they are designed for footpaths only.
No high‑speed or rough routes – Do not use on motorways, tunnels, multi‑lane roads, very steep hills or rough gravel tracks.

No licence or permit is required to use a mobility scooter in public pedestrian areas.
You may use pavements, promenades and public walkways with your scooter, as long as you travel at walking pace.
You may access footpaths, pathways and seafront routes anywhere they are open to pedestrians.
In Spain, mobility scooters are classed as pedestrian mobility aids, so they can be used wherever walking is allowed.
You are entitled to safe passage on crossings, dropped kerbs, ramps and other pedestrian routes.
You have the right to be treated with respect and equal consideration when moving through public spaces.

Pedestrian zones – Use your scooter mainly on pavements and promenades, choosing a safe route where pedestrians normally walk.
Speed – Keep your speed to normal walking pace (around 5–6 km/h) so you can stop or turn quickly if needed.
Alcohol – Never drive the scooter while under the influence; accidents in these conditions are unlikely to be covered by insurance.
Single rider only – Scooters are designed for one person; carrying passengers or children can damage the scooter and affect any cover.
Charging – Plug in and charge overnight to ensure full range and reliable performance the following day.
On the pavement – When using pavements, you have the same rights as other pedestrians, but must drive carefully and respect others’ space
